So you want to learn how to write a paper? First things first, what do you want to write a paper for? This simple piece of information is the most important thing to remember when learning how to write a paper. The purpose of writing the paper is the brief. The brief is vital. The brief should always be kept in mind at all times. Whenever you have to say something in the paper you should ask yourself whether or not it is relevant to the brief. If you find yourself going off topic, review and revise what you have done and see whether you can change it to fit in with the brief.

Your paper should always start with an introduction. Learning how to write a paper goes hand in hand with learning how to write an introduction for a paper, it is vital to the end product. An introduction should be concise and short. It should cover everything you are going to say, but it shouldn't go into any depth about the subject matter. This means that every point you wish to make will begin by clearly stating what it is. The next part of the 'sex' method is example. The E is example. Every point should be followed by an example, adding substance to any claim you have made. The final part of the method (X), and the most important thing is the explanation, this is where you are explaining why your point is the most valid, how you came to make the point and how you are justifying it. If you wish to learn how to write a successful paper you need to learn how to utilize these methods. The 'sex' method is very effective and is always a good way to keep everything in focus. The final part of your paper should be your summary or conclusion. These closing statements are supposed to be like a sealer on the paper. Learning how to write a conclusion is vital to learn how to write a good paper. The conclusion should be a brief summary of what you have said, reminding the reader of what points you have made, why you have made them and why they prove your point.

If you want to learn how to write a paper you should follow the methods above. It is after that only a matter of practice. If you know your subject matter and explain it in a clear and concise way you will achieve your goal of writing a paper.
