By Jason Taingahue Oh dear - you have a problem with your toilet, and you need to know how to unclog it?
Then this piece of information abut how to unclog a toilet is just for you. I have gone into detail below on just how you yourelf can learn to unclog a toilet.
Learning how to unclog a toilet is probably one of the most disgusting jobs that anyone has to do. Especially if it's somebody else's business that has blocked the toilet. There are various ways when learning how to unclog a toilet that can be taught. I will show a couple below, but first, how does a toilet get blocked?
If you want to know how to unclog a toilet, then first we will try and find out what the heck has blocked the toilet in the first place? Most of the time it is an overloading of toilet paper, or somebody has done some nasty and usually hard business in there. Then again, another way the toilet can be blocked, is if young kids get in there and think the toilet is a good place to float there toy boat or any toy for that matter. Could even be mum or dads cell phone.
Anyway, how to unclog a toilet will come into play now and let's say for instance we take the first reason that the toilet can be blocked, and usually one of the common reasons, which is the toilet paper over load. Yep that is right, when we use too much toilet paper to wipe our rude bits, the toilet can become blocked.
So our next step when learning how to unclog a toilet, is to get a rubber glove and put it on our hand. Also you may want to grab a peg for your nose as well, because most of the time the smell is not very pleasant at all. Now when you want to unclog a toilet this way, make sure that you have gloves that are long. You may have to put your hand down the toilet further than you anticipated.
Now that we have all the equipment to unclog the toilet, let's get to work. Ok now, basically when learning how to unclog a toilet with gloves, all that we are trying to do is grab the toilet paper with our gloves on and pull it out. It's as easy as that, but sometimes we may not get the desired result, so we can then move on to the method which is using what we call a plunger.
When learning how to clean a toilet with a plunger, all we need is a plunger, and some gloves too. A plunger is used to suck up the stuff that is stuck in the toilet. We can purchase a plunger from any good hard ware store. A plunger has a wooden handle and a rubber piece on the end of it, which is used for the sucking.
The technique used when learning how to unclog a toilet with a plunger, is to get the plunger and push it down the toilet bowl as far as you can, and as soon as you cannot go any further, the plunger will suck onto the side of the bowl. When it does this, leave it for a couple of seconds and then carefully pull it back. This will suck up any unwanted objects in the toilet onto the plunger.
The last and final technique when learning how to unclog a toilet if all else fails, is to ring a plumber. Don't try anything else past the two techniques that I have shown you above. Ring a plumber. This is the safest and most efficient way.
Maybe if you have been successful in being able to unclog your toilet by yourself, without havnig to call in a professional to unclog your toilet, you could show members of your family or friends how they too, can learn how to unclog a toilet.
