How To Treat Blister
By Jason Taingahue Do you want to learn how to treat a blister? If the answer is yes to this question then read on and I will explain to you how to treat a blister.
First of all when learning how to treat a blister we must have an understanding of what blister is? There are two types of blisters which are called water blisters and blood blisters. These can bothe be treated.
Blisters are caused by an over swelling in a particular area of the body in a bubble type form which is filled with fluid. A good example of this would be the blister on the foot which can come about by wearing shoes with no socks. Below i have gone into some detail on how you can learn to treat a blister.
So how do we treat a blister? There are quite a few different ways that we can treat a blister and below I will give you and a few examples on how to treat these horrible things.
The first example that I am going to give you when learning how to treat a blister is one where all that you do is take a clean sharp needle and prick the top of it so that the fluid runs out. Make sure that you have a towel under the blister so that the fluid can run onto it. As soon as all the fluid has run out of the blister, put some antiseptic cream on the blister and then put a plaster immediately over the top so that no germs can get into the opening. And be careful with the water blisters because they sting sometimes when they are opened up.
The next method that we can use when learning how to treat a blister is quite an easy to follow treatment method as well, just like the last one. Instead of popping the blister, we will just put some antiseptic cream on the blister when we treat it and then we will wrap it up in a bandage so that it has extra protection. Change the bandage every day too.
The other useful tips on learning how to treat blister is to keep the area clean at all times and make sure that it is covered at all times as well. Especially if the blister has opened, we need to keep the germs away from an opened blister, otherwise the area could get infected.
Also when using an antiseptic cream on a popped or burst blister when we treat it, make sure that you aren't allergic to it, because this may start a chain reaction in the body that also may affect the blister as well. Ask your local doctor what may react to your body and what are the safest types of antiseptic creams for blisters.
The final piece of advice I can give you when learning to treat a blister is to make sure that you get a blister attended to as soon as you notice that it is there. The sooner the better as well because all blisters like to spread them selves around as quickly as they can and there is nothing more disgusting than having a hand of foot full of blisters.
Well I hope that the methods and tips that I have given you on blisters help you to get rid of these horrible looking things. Give both of my methods a shot and see which one best suits you.
