How To Sing Better
By Jason Taingahue Do you want to know how to sing better? Maybe you are a singer, but feel that you can do better? There are quite a few methods when learning how to sing better, and we will cover a few soon.
Some of us can sing and some of us cannot, while others think they can sing, but they cannot really. Anyway if you are already a singer and want to learn how to sing better because somebody said that you were tone deaf, then carry on reading.
Depending on the situation of your wanting to learn how to sing better, we will take that of someone who is tone deaf. Tone deaf meaning that they can't sing the actual note that is at hand to sing. One way that we can counter this when learning how to sing better, is to use a musical instrument, where in most cases the piano or the guitar is used.
These instruments are here so that we can play the note, and then we will get the person who wants to learn how to sing better to hum that note. If they are tone deaf and don't realize this and the person who is playing the notes on the piano or the guitar picks this up, then the next step is to get a tape recorder.
Now that we have this equipment we are on our path to learning how to sing better. So turn on the tape recorder and then play the note, and ask the person who wants to learn how to sing better to hum that note. If the note is the same as that of the piano or the guitar, then stop the recorder and play it back to the person. This will give them a fair idea of what they sound like. And if the note isn't hit right, then they will be able to hear it very clearly and realize that they need more practice in learning how to sing better.
The only other thing that can be done from this stage is practice or getting a professional singing tutor to come in on the play. But that is not cheap, I can assure you that, so I would recommend using this technique and remember to be patient, things don't happen instantaneously, they take time.
Another technique when wanting to learn how to sing better, is to sing from the diaphragm which is located in the middle of the chest. Weather you are a beginner or an intermediate singer, everyone who sings, sings from the diaphragm. This helps with rolling note and being able to sustain a note as well. This also takes practice, just like everything else, be patient, which by the way is the number one rule in learning to sing better. Well it's actually the number one rule in anything really.
So when learning how to sing better, give these techniques a try because they both compensate each other, and will help you on your path to learning how to be a better singer.
Once you learn how to sing better try this. When some of your friends come over just discreetly sing in the back ground. This is how you get feed back from all the training you have done in becoming a better singer. Your friends usually tell you exactly what your singing voice sounds like, and whether it is good or bad, at least we know where we are and that helps onto the next level of our singing path.
