How To Roll A Joint

So you want to know how to roll a joint. *raises eyebrows*, but each to their own I guess. There is not really a lot you need to know when it comes to learning how to roll a joint. Now if you are a cigarette smoker and have at some stage rolled your own cigarettes using papers and tobacco, maybe even a filter, learning how to roll a joint will be easy for you.
When you first learn how to roll a joint, it could prove to be frustrating as marijuana is often quite dry, well the drier the better apparently. You will need to make sure you have your marijuana broken up nicely. Some plants will be quite leafy, while others may produce some very nice buds for you.
Now to knowing how to roll a joint. You will need to have on hand some tissues papers. Issue papers that are used for rolling a joint or a cigarette using tobacco, can be purchased at a variety of places, the supermarket, your local dairy or even a petrol station. I cant say I have ever come across anyone that has used a filter when they have rolled a joint.
Make sure your tissue paper is not ripped in any way or have any little holes in it. You not be able to successfully roll a joint if your tissue paper is damaged in any way. This is because the air will get into the rolled joint and out through the hole again. Therefore preventing you from enjoying your smoke.
Once you have established that the tissue paper you are going to use has no holes or is not damaged in any way, you can then begin to place some marijuana on to the tissue paper. On learning how to roll a joint, you will establish that you do not need to pile the tissue paper full of marijuana. Although some do. It really does all come down to personal preference and how much of a ‘high' you want to get.
Break up your marijuana and carefully place the amount you wish to smoke in to the tissue paper. Now you can carefully pick up the tissue paper, that by now holds the marijuana you wish to smoke. You will now need to learn how to roll the joint. Take each end of the tissue paper between your thumbs and fore fingers. Making sure you do not spill the marijuana everywhere, carefully roll the tissue paper around the marijuana you have placed inside of it. Try to roll the tissue paper in the front towards the back side of the tissue paper, this then making the front side of the tissue paper, roll towards the inside of the back side of the tissue paper, all the while going over the top of the marijuana. Once the front side of the tissue paper appears to be securely in place, you can now roll the back side of the tissue paper forwards, coming down over the previously rolled side. When you learn how to roll a joint, you will also learn that you should not roll a joint too loose, nor too tight. If a joint is rolled too loose, the chances are the marijuana will fall out, and if you roll a joint too tight, then the chances are, you will not leave enough room for air to circulate around in the rolled joint, therefore, will prevent the marijuana from burning when lit.
Once you have rolled the joint and the tissue paper appears to be in place, and your joint is looking like a cigarette, or a cylinder shaped thing, lick along the edge of the tissue paper, that appears to have a thin line of gum. Then seal the joint you have just learned to roll.
Knowing how to roll a joint may take a few attempts, especially if you have shaky hands. Having shaky hands will always make rolling a joint more difficult.
Now that you have managed to roll a joint, simply light one end of it with a cigarette lighter or a match. And SUCK!
Once you have mastered knowing how to roll a joint, you could possibly share your knowledge with your friends, and then you can all wander off and fry your brains together…
As you may have gathered, I am not a marijuana smoker, yet have learned how to roll a joint, simply through watching others roll a joint. So, if you find it difficult to learn how to roll a joint by reading my instructions above, my advice to you would be, either, watch someone you know roll a joint, or just don't smoke marijuana.
