How To Roast Corn

Do you know how to roast corn? If you don't know how to roast corn then keep on reading and I will explain a great way for you to learn how to roast corn and its an easy way to roast corn as well.

The first thing that we need to do when we are learning to roast corn is get the corn first and to do this we just go to our local supermarket and get the corn that suits our needs as there are a lot of different varieties of corn that you can choose from, but any corn can be roasted.

The next step to learning how to roast corn is to boil the corn for about 5 minutes on a low heat and then put the corn aside for a bit so that it cools down. After the corn has cooled down we can now get the corn ready to be put into the roasting dish. The roasting dish should be pre heated to about 150 degrees Celsius with a little bit of vegetable oil or butter in the dish.

Once the butter or oil is melted in the roasting dish the next stage of learning how to roast corn is to get the corn and place it into the dish and then let it cook for about 15 minutes and then turn for another 15 minutes on the other side. That should be enough cooking time when learning how to roast corn, now you just have to let it sit for a while when you take it out of the oven because it will be very hot at this stage and even though the corn is not in the oven it is still cooking when it comes out for about another minute or two.

Another way that you can learn how to roast corn is when you are cooking a roast in the oven, on about the last twenty to thirty minutes you can get the corn and cook it in there too, so that when the roast comes out of the oven the corn will be ready to come out as well, all timed to perfection so to speak.

There are plenty of other ways to learn how to roast corn, but the method of learning how to roast corn that I have just explained to you is probably the most conventional way of learning how to roast the corn because it is quick and easy.

If you want to experiment and see if you can learn how to roast corn teaching yourself then go for it, I mean the worse thing that you can do by teaching yourself how to cook corn by yourself is bugger it up. Just take your time if you are going to do it this way and note down what you are doing as well, because you never know, you may strike something that you can use again or share with others.

Well I hope that this document has given you a little insight into learning how to roast corn, because I know one thing for sure and that is after I started getting to the end of this document, it has actually made me hungry myself, so now I may just go and cook myself some roast corn to eat and smother it in butter and plenty of salt.
