How To Make Jello Shot

Learning how to make jello shots can be fun, and a handy hint for any party you may hold, or be invited to.
The know how to make jello shots is relatively simple and do not take up a lot of time, well not in the preparation of making the jello shot, no. It is the setting of the jello that does in fact take the time. A jello shot or shots, whichever the case may be, is/are best made the evening before. This will in fact give the jello plenty of time to set before you intend on using the jello shots.
First of all, you have to decide on how many jello shots you want or need to make. Once you have this sorted in your thoughts, you then need to know how many people will be at the event you are going to make the jello shots for and what beverage most of them would probably prefer. There is no point in making jello shots with expensive liquor if they are not going to be consumed. It is suggested to use vodka. A high percentage of drinkers will favour vodka, especially in something like a jello shot. And white spirits have the ability to not make one so ill.
Once you have worked out how many shots you need to make and what flavour beverage you will be using for your jello shots, you then need to make sure you have on hand enough plastic little shot cups. These can be purchased from most local supermarkets, or other odds and ends stores. Im sure you will not have any problem in finding the shot cups for your jello shots.
You need to turn your jug on and boil enough water to make up the amount of jello required. You will determine this by how many jello shots you are going to make against how far a packet of jello will go. There will be instructions on the outside of the jello packaging as how to make up the jello.
Now that you have boiled your water in the jug, pour this over the amount of jello crystals you have chosen to make up. Mix it all up with a spoon, making sure there are no jello crystal lumps left behind. Then on top of the prepared jello, add the amount of alcohol (in this case, vodka). Stir with a spoon to combine the prepared jello and the vodka together. We do not want some of your jello shots tasting stronger than others. That's pretty much all there is to knowing how to make jello shots.
All you have to do now, is carefully pour the jello and vodka mixture into your plastic shot cups, preferably already placed on a tray. Once you have done all of this, simply place your made up jello shots into your fridge. Keep an eye on them however, and make sure, if you have children , you keep them away from your jello shots.
