How To Get Rid Of Spiders
By Jenna Litchfield Spiders! Eek those eight-legged creatures that tend to haunt us everywhere we turn, getting on curtains, in crevices and corners making webs and scaring almost all the girls that get near them.
But how do you get rid of the spiders? Some use the age old method of swatting them, hitting them, squishing them in other words flattening them to a pulp so that they are no more, or there are some caring people that actually get a cup and put it over the spider and by sliding a piece of paper under the cup they can remove the spider and put it out into the wilderness, but that isn't stopping them from coming back or really getting rid of them.
Spiders probably are intensely more scared of us then what we are of them, we are these huge creatures staring down at them screaming!! The only reason spiders bite is to defend them selves; they don't know your only reaching for something and not trying to harm any of them unless you are trying to get rid of them of course.
They are only creatures of nature that happen to like the conditions of our homes.
Spiders hate heat, so mostly the reason they come in your house is to avoid it and cool down however they love water as well so that is why your bathrooms get plastered with spiders some times.
So how do you get rid of spiders?
A good way to rid yourself of spiders is to get an insect glue board and place it in places where the spiders are the most dominant, like in bathrooms, behind fixtures, basically anywhere they will mostly get your spiders and not to mention it will help you get rid of other insects as well.
Try fly or insect spray to get rid of them!! That seems to be the biggest method in getting rid of the spiders, you can obtain fly spray from most local supermarkets, there is quite an array of sprays so have a look around and get the one that most suits you.
Or you can get spider powders and pesticides, but I don't recommend it for inside as you will be living with that chemical smell not to mention the actual chemical, but do what you feel is best on how to get rid of your spiders.
If you get rid of most of the spiders insect diet then the spiders will cease to live, also try not to leave clothes and belongings on the floor, spiders love to hide, and also try not to leave food lying around and get rid of full rubbish bins as it attracts insects and you guessed it spiders love insects.
It's the same with clutter in attic's, basements or garages get rid of it! They can be getting everywhere under things, over things around things.
However make sure you rid your house of any holes, cracks and crevices so they have no way to get into your house, and trim shrubs and trees so they don't touch your house as spiders can float on there webs very long distances and can climb onto your house and eventually get in. Spray curtains and crevices with fly spray to prevent the spiders from making their webs and or crawling their way around your premises and getting in all sorts of places.
Also get in there and suck up the spiders their eggs and their webs with a vacuum cleaner not to mention it will make your house appear tidier as well, however webs are a great helpful insect fighter but can be an eye sore if you do not get rid of them.
So basically if you can get rid of the insects the spiders love so much, your spider population will definitely decrease.
Please remember however all chemicals are dangerous to your health so be careful when handling those substances, and that some spiders are in fact quite deadly so be careful when cleaning and getting amongst old junk and boxes, where gloves!!
