How To Cook Pot Roast

How would you like to learn how to cook a pot roast? Just keep reading and I will explain to you how you can cook a pot roast. Even if you already know how to cook a pot roast, you can still try and cook a pot roast the way that I am going to tell you because this is a very different way of cooking a pot roast.

Well first of all when learning how to cook a pot roast we need to get the pot roast first, so to get a pot roast you can go down to your local super market and obtain a pot roast that is big enough for you and your family to eat.

The next step that we need to take when learning how to cook a pot roast is to get a pot that is big enough to fit the pot roast in. Once we have got the pot for the pot roast we can now fill the pot up to about three quarters of the way and then put it on the stove and bring the water to the boil. Once the water is boiling we can then put the pot roast into the water until the water has come to the boil again. The next thing that we need to do when learning how to cook a pot roast is to turn the heat down to a medium heat and leave the pot roast to slowly boil for about 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the actual pot roast.

Now we just wait for the pot roast to boil and cook and every now and then we use a skewer which is a thin metal or wooden piece that is made to poke into the meat to see if it is cooked. Do this at about the twenty minute mark when learning how to cook a pot roast and then every five minutes after that as we are seeing if the juices run clear and when they do, that means that it is time for us to take our pot roast off the stove and let it cool down.

Once the pot roast has cooked in the pot itself the next thing that we need to do when learning how to cook a pot roast is put it on a plate and leave it to stand for about 5-10 minutes as that gives it time to cool down and even though the pot roast is out of the pot itself, it is still actually cooking. When it has cooled down, the final thing that we need to do when learning how to cook a pot roast is serve it up with some vegetables and eat it. I am sure that the family will enjoy a great pot roast meal.
