The first method that we will be using when learning how to clean copper is one where all that you need is a bucket of hot soapy water and a cloth. Take the copper surface or object and wipe it down with the soapy sponge. After you have done that, you can then take a dry cloth and wipe it down so that it is nice and shiny. It's as easy as that with this method. And a word of warning when using this method, do not put your bare hand into a bucket of hot water, make sure that you use some rubber gloves, they protect the hand.
The next method that we can use when learning how to clean copper is to use our own spit. Yeah I know that it sounds really gross, but have you tried it? Most who say that is gross or something along those lines are people that have not even tried this method. So spit on the copper surface first and then wipe it down with a dry cloth. You will be surprised with the results. And it doesn't cost a cent in buying cleaning products.

And all that we need when learning how to clean copper using this method is window cleaner. That's right; window cleaner can be used for many surfaces because of the solution make up. Just spray a little bit onto the surface and wipe down with a dry cloth. This will give it that very shiny finish that you want.
