How To Catch A Mouse
By Jason Taingahue Want to learn how to catch a mouse? Well there are several ways to catch these pests, and they generally like to hang about in the same places. Mainly where there is available food. The easier the food is to get, the more the mouse will keep going back to that same place. So the easier it will be to catch a mouse.
The first thing we need to look at when learning how to catch a mouse, is where the mouse is targeting. The obvious place for a mouse to scavenge around is the food cupboards.
You can actually hear the mouse moving about if he is scavenging around in the cupboards. You just need to stay positioned anywhere in the kitchen, and you will hear the mouse scampering around. This means that there is somewhere in the cupboards that the mouse is gaining an entrance. So he is giving you clues as to where you will be able to catch him.
I mean, who wants a mouse eating food that we buy for ourselves? I know that I don't, so lets get these pesky rodents.
Once you have a general idea of the where the mouse is entering into your cupboards, from and what food containers/packets etc he is attacking, we can then put a plan into place into learning how to catch a mouse.
Another way of knowing where the mouse is entering from, is looking for mouse droppings, which the pesky rodent likes to leave after devouring your food.
Now that we have a fair idea of the where the mouse is and what particular food products he is targeting, we have a number of options in learning how to catch a mouse.
The first, being the obvious one of lying down a mouse trap. Mouse traps come in all shapes and sizes, and are set so that the mouse grabs a certain piece of food off the trap, and SNAP the trap snaps closed, hopefully catching the mouse, and that's the end of that little pest.
The next idea in learning how to catch a mouse, is to stand near the area he is at and keep still. First grab an old piece of pipe, and close one end off. Then in the middle of it put a piece of cheese. Place this anywhere around the area that the mouse is hanging about. As soon as the mouse goes in to get the cheese, seal the open side off with a piece of card board and then dispose of the little pest as you please.
The final idea when learning how to catch a mouse, is to get a cat. Yep, this is the most popular of them all. It is believed that once a cat catches a few of these little pests, there is a warning sent out to the rest of there little friends, and they sure won't be coming back to fall prey to its worst enemy.
A word of warning when learning how to catch a mouse. Be very careful when learning how to catch a mouse, especially with the pipe idea. Do not let the mouse near any part of your body, because these little buggers have very sharp teeth, and can draw blood if they get a hold of you. As little as these little pests are, they have a hell of bite, especially if you have just started learning how to catch a mouse.
These are tried and successful ways of learning how to catch a mouse.
