How To Build A Chicken Coop

If you have a whole lot chickens that you may want together then why don't you build a chicken coop for them. Do you know how to build a chicken coop? If you don't know how to build a chicken coop then read on and I will explain to you how you can build a chicken coop.
The first thing that we must do when learning how to build a chicken coop is to build the outside frame of the chicken coop first and to do this we will need 8 pieces of medium sized timber and the length of these will vary depending on how many chickens you will have in there.
The next step that we need to do when learning how to build a chicken coop is to nail four of the evenly measured pieces of timber so that they are in a large square and do this with the other four as well so there are two even squares that act as a base and a roof.
Now that we have the base and the roof when learning how to build a chicken coop, we can now get four pieces of timber of even width like the base and roof but a little bit longer in length. These four pieces of timber will help to make up the frame of the chicken coop by putting one piece of timber standing up right from one corner of one of the squares that we made to the matching corner on the other square. We can then nail these in and do the same with the other three sides so that we have the shell of a chicken coop to work with.
The next part of learning how to build a chicken coop is to stand the chicken coop shell up right and get some wire meshing that will cover the sides and the top of the chicken coop shell. You don't need to worry about the base because it will be facing the ground. I would advise to use a nail or a staple gun and keep the mesh tight so there is no slack in it at all.
When learning how to build a chicken coop, we will need a door on the chicken coop so we will cut out a door anywhere on the chicken coop with tin snips or snips that will cut mesh. Once the door is cut out when learning how to build a chicken coop, put some timber around the frame of the door to make it a bit more stable and then build a door that suits your own liking on the chicken coop.
Next thing that you need to do when learning to make a chicken coop is to build a separate section inside the chicken coup so that the chickens are sheltered. Make several box like houses raised off the ground with hay in them and with a roof so that the chicken can have some shelter and have a place to lay its eggs as well.
The only thing that you need to do now when learning how to build a chicken coop is put a tray down for the chicken's water and also a tray for the food too.
