Girls. The bane of every guy's existence. The question of how to approach a girl is an eternal one. Girls are never going to be charmed by a rigid set approach. The most important thing when considering whether to approach a girl is to ascertain your level of co-ordination. It is crucial to approach a girl in an upright position. A girl will not appreciate the walking-on-hands approach, the stumbling slurring approach or the on-hands-and-knees approach.

Once you have gathered the required level of co-ordination to approach your targeted girl, the rest is easy. Using a rating out of ten, including DDI (distance distortion factor) and taking into account the thickness of your beer goggles, you should have an idea of the amount of effort required to score this girl. If this level of effort in the approach is beyond your capacity, whether it be your standard of dress, your physical appearance, your method of transportation, your financial wealth or your ability to talk, it is advised you rethink your target for the evening. Now you know whether it is physically possible or desirable to approach this girl, it is time to act.




When approaching a girl you need to remember a simple thing. Be yourself. A façade might work for the evening, but if you are a genuine person and wish for more than a one night stand you should be yourself when you approach this girl. A cheesy pick up line, a joke, a gesticulation and a smile, any signal of interest which is genuine is going to get a response from a woman. The fear of being rejected shouldn't hinder your attempts or confidence in approaching a girl. Men who get girls may pretend there is a secret formula to their success, but it's not true. Confidence and a sense of humour is all it takes for a girl to be interested.

However, if you are approaching a girl for a good time rather than a long time, you have more freedom with whom and what you are. Pick up lines, lies and deceit are all fair game if you are approaching the girl for a one night stand.

A note of caution however, if you approach a girl and you look like the type of person who actually would be playing with toy soldiers I would advise to avoid the final pick up line.

1. I am related to or are a famous person.
2. Your job (a famous sportsman, high powered lawyer etc.)
3. Where you live (Australia, Scotland, New York etc.)
4. What you drive (A Ferrari, Lexus etc.)
5. How old you are. (Usually, but not always younger.)
You must look the part of the role you are playing so when you approach a girl you should know your story. Don't make up your deception on the way to approaching her, because you will get caught out. If all else fails, Australian comedian Kevin Bloody Wilson says you can't go past "Do ya fuck on first dates..."
